Clinical Psychologists complete a minimum of six years of university study, including a doctoral qualification. We assess, formulate and treat mental health difficulties using evidence-based approaches. In the UK, the title is protected by law and regulated by the HCPC.
Psychiatrists are medical doctors who can prescribe medication. Clinical Psychologists don't prescribe medication but have extensive training in psychological assessment and therapy.
You don't need to be in crisis. Many people come during periods of change, uncertainty or growth. If you're unsure, get in touch. There's no obligation.

It varies. Some people do 6-12 focused sessions; others benefit from longer-term work. We'll discuss this together and review as we go. You're always in control.

A stable internet connection, a device with camera and microphone, and a private space. We'll send a Zoom link before each session.
Research shows online therapy is equally effective as in-person for most difficulties. Many people prefer the convenience.
Yes. There are limited exceptions outlined in our privacy policy, which we'll discuss at the start. Clinical supervisors may hear anonymised details as part of our professional obligations.
48 hours' notice, please. Late cancellations may be charged at the full fee. We understand life is unpredictable. Just let us know as early as you can.
